Steel Grating

Steel grating is a heavy-duty, pedestrian-friendly steel grating that can handle most wheel traffic. This grating comes in two span lengths: short span and long span. The short span series are designed to span up to 3 feet. The long span series can span up to 8 feet.

Wheels and heels is constructed with 1/4 inch thick steel bearing bars. The long span series also contain 3/16 inch filler bars which are alternated with the bearing bars. The bearing (and filler bars) are welded in place to produce a remarkably strong grating.

1) Bearing Bar Specification: 1", 1-1/4" ,1-1/2" x 1/8", 3/16", 1/4" (Height X Thickness)
2) Bearing Bar Spacing:1/2", 3/4",1",1-1/4",1-1/2"etc, also be according to client' s requirement and 3/8",2" are recommended
3) Bearing Bar Surface:Smooth - Standard surface ; Serrated - Serrations are cut into the grating's bearing bars surface
4) Cross Bar Spacing:1-1/2", 2", 2-1/2", 4" etc, also be according to client's requirement and 2", 4" are recommended
5) Material: Mild Steel or Stainless Steel
6) Surface Treatment: Untreated, Painting or Hot Dip Galvanizing
